The View Ridge PTA and it's members remain committed to supporting students and families at View Ridge Elementary and in the community. We support the following organizations and programs with annual contributions:
- Operation School Bell
- Shoe Fund
- Clothes for Kids
- Children in Need (supporting basic needs)
Children in Need Fund
We thank the Everett Public Schools Foundation (EPSF) for partnering with us to support basic needs of View Ridge students and families. We will be making a $500 donation to EPSF for the 2021-2022 school year. Any cash donation made through our PTA giving campaign marked for Children in Need Fund will be split between stocking the PTA food panty and gifted to EPSF. The Children in Need Fund supports many basic needs of View Ridge families including meals, groceries, clothing, and more. If your student needs support this year, please contact school Counselor Mrs. A at ratregenio@everettsd.org or call 425-385-5400. All requests remain confidential.
PTA Food Pantry
We know that more View Ridge families are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic and remote learning. Last year, we collected several hundred pounds of food and $700 in donations to support families. This year, we have established a permanent food pantry at school and we want to stock it with nutritious, single-serve, light-weight items that can be easily dropped into student backpacks. We've set up an Amazon Wish List to make for easy ordering and delivery to school. You can also donate like items to the school. We're seeking shelf-stable food items such as:
- Peanut Butter / Almond Butter
- Macaroni & Cheese Boxes/Packets
- Apple Sauce (individual packs)
- Fruit Snacks (packaged)
- Rice or ravioli (microwavable)
- Protein Bars, Fruit & Nut Bars, Granola Bars
- Juice boxes
- Crackers, Goldfish, Saltines
- Nuts
- Oatmeal (microwavable packets)
